About Us

We are a trusted social enterprise, working with and referred to by local authorities, charities, and third-sector organisations across Wales and England. Our approach combines legal expertise with a strong understanding of safeguarding, vulnerability, and public-sector decision-making.

Alongside our deputyship work, we offer free, impartial guidance to families, carers, social care professionals, and third-sector organisations. This support helps people understand available options at an early stage and promotes outcomes that maximise independence, reduce risk, and improve quality of life.

Our work has been recognised nationally, including:

  • Winner – Social Enterprise Innovation of the Year (2024)

  • Finalist – Best Deputyship Firm (2024), Probate Industry Awards

  • Winner – Social Enterprise Start-Up of the Year (2023), UK Start-Up Awards (Wales)

These awards reflect our commitment to delivering high-quality, ethical, and socially focused Court of Protection services within a non-profit framework.

Not-for-profit legal advice and financial safeguarding

We provide professional Court of Protection Deputy and Attorney services to safeguard the property and finances of people who lack capacity, or who are unable to manage their own financial affairs.

Every deputyship or attorneyship is managed by an experienced specialist solicitor. Unlike a traditional law firm, we operate as a not-for-profit social enterprise, enabling us to act solely in the best interests of the people we support rather than to generate profit.

Our status as a social enterprise aligns with the duties placed on local authorities under the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014, which requires authorities to promote the development of social enterprises and the third sector in the delivery of care and support services.

In practice, this means our model is well-suited to public-sector partnership working and reflects the values of accountability, safeguarding, and proportionality expected when services are secured or signposted by public bodies.
